Parentkind

There’s one sure tonic for the pain of parenting, and that’s sharing your story. Writer and new mum Maggie Kelly found this out first hand after the birth of her daughter during the pandemic. Blown away by the everyday heroics of parents she decided to make a show dedicated the best/worst job you’ll do: parenthood.
The show is called Parentkind, and each episode covers two incredible stories about parenting. She spoke to parents about body image, sex, cheating, abortion, being a transgender or disabled parent, and of course, love.
Some of the stories are weird and funny, while others are just heart-wrenching. But all of them unpack this vast and ancient thing that brought literally all of us into existence. They may be small stories of parents, but it’s one huge tale of Parentkind.
